Job Title: Van Driver
Location: Cockermouth, Cumbria
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, with potential for overtime

Our client is located in the Cockermouth area and is looking for a reliable van driver to join their team. This role includes completing between 10 and 15 drops to the surrounding areas exposing you to the beautiful scenery of The Lake District. This is a very laid back, chilled out role and you will be working between the hours of 5am and 3pm. The working days are 5 days a week including a Saturday, leaving you with evenings off and a nice relaxing Sunday.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company van to make deliveries to designated locations
• Complete 10-15 drops per day within the specified time frame
• Ensure all goods are delivered in good condition and according to customer specifications
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role preferred
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work between the hours of 5 am and 3 pm
