Are you a recent Graduate or have you just completed an HND in Accounts? Pertemps are working with a leading company based in the outskirts of Glasgow City Centre who are looking to add to the finance team. They offer a fantastic working environment and will look at candidates who have no work experience but who are motivated and willing to learn. In return you will get a starting salary circa £23k plus excellent benefits including hybrid working and free parking.
Main duties include:
- Respond to all supplier queries via phone/email/post.
- Monitor reception phone and internal mail.
- Preparation and sending of monthly BACS and cheque payment runs.
- Maintenance of supplier statement reconciliations.
- Maintenance of utility accounts for all offices.
- Maintenance of accounts for all suppliers and subcontractors.
- Process ad-hoc manual and foreign payments.
Skills required:
- Previous work experience in retail or hospitality
- HND Accounts or BA Accountancy
- Ms excel skills
- Excellent attitude towards learning
- Motivated and organised
